Parking in Laguna is tight and steep and we are used to it. We work at the kerb, in a numbered space or on a drive cut into a hillside, and the van does not need to be next to the car for any of it.
Cars here live outside, near salt, on streets with no shelter, and a lot of them are older because people keep them. That combination restores extremely well: the plastic underneath is almost always sound and it is only the surface that has gone.
The canyon and the coast behave differently. Down by the water there is marine air most mornings and salt all the time. Up at Top of the World it is above the layer, open to the sky, and takes full sun from early. Same city, two different jobs.

This is the part that takes the time, usually around forty minutes. You will see the yellow coming off the first lens before we have started on the second.
Last comes the ceramic coat, which replaces the factory UV layer that broke down in the first place. The three-year guarantee starts the day we finish.
Yellowed lenses need sanding. Lenses that are still clear only need sealing, and cost less. We tell you which one you need when we see the car, and we do not charge for sanding that is not needed.

The factory UV layer replaced before it fails, so they never get to the yellow stage.
If they cannot be saved, you do not pay
A cracked lens or moisture inside the housing needs a new housing, not a polish. We check for both at your car before anything starts. If that is what we find, we say so and go. No call-out fee, no argument.
A restoration is $179 on a car, $199 on an SUV, truck or van, and $249 on a large SUV or a luxury car: bigger lenses take longer. Your model tells us which one you have, so we do not ask.

About 90 minutes for one car. You do not have to stand over it. Most people in Laguna Beach leave the car unlocked on the drive or in a work lot and get on with their day, and the lenses never come off the car.
